At Birthsafe,
We are more than a maternal health brand. We are a Commitment.
- A Commitment to end preventable maternal deaths.
- A Commitment to give women the power to protect their pregnancies.
- A Commitment to help every woman give birth without wahala.
We believe maternal health is a right, not a privilege. Whether you are pregnant, planning to be, or just gave birth, Birthsafe walks with you through every stage digitally, compassionately and powerfully.

Our Mission
To ensure no woman experiences pregnancy loss or complications simply because she lacked timely and quality antenatal support.
To plug the gaps left by traditional antenatal care using technology that meets women where they are on their phones, in their homes, and in their communities.
To save the lives of at least one million women and babies each year.
What began in 2022 with just 50 women has grown into a bold movement for safer pregnancies. Today, Birthsafe proudly supports more than 10,000 registered Mamas with life-saving antenatal care. And we are just getting started.
From Lagos to London, Houston to Ontario, Abuja to Port Harcourt, our impact reaches Nigerian women, African women, and women of color in the diaspora; wherever they are, however they are.

Why Does Birthsafe Exist?
Because every woman deserves a safe, supported and informed pregnancy & childbirth journey.
Too many women of colour suffer silently through avoidable complications. We are here to change that.
The Birthsafe Mandate:

To reduce the incidence of preventable miscarriages in pregnancy.

To reduce the incidence of preventable intrauterine fetal deaths (stillbirths) in pregnancy.

To reduce the incidence of preventable intrauterine fetal deaths (stillbirths) in pregnancy.

To reduce the incidence of maternal trauma- illness, body or mental damage arising from pregnancy or childbirth.

To reduce the incidence of maternal loss of lives arising from pregnancy and childbirth.

To reduce the burden of delivering antenatal care on hospitals and healthcare providers.
Every protocol, every resource, every conversation at Birthsafe is built around these six life-saving goals.
